These terms apply whenever you use casaquip.com or place an order with us. By using the site you accept them. Please read them before you buy.

Who we are

CasaQuip operates this store and website. Our contact information is shown in the footer of every page. You can reach us at info@casaquip.com.

Using this site

You may browse and buy from this site for your own personal use. You may not use it to break the law, to interfere with how it works, to scrape or copy it at scale, or to attempt to access parts of it you have not been given access to.

You must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order.

Where we sell

We accept orders from the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States and Canada. If your country is not available at checkout, we are not currently able to sell to you.

Products and descriptions

We describe every product as accurately as we can. Screens and cameras vary, so colours and finishes may look slightly different in person. Dimensions are given as a guide and small variations are normal, particularly on handmade and natural material items such as wood, rattan, stone and glass.

All items are subject to availability. If something you ordered turns out to be unavailable, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges that we received it, but the contract between us is only formed when we dispatch your order.

We may refuse or cancel an order if the item is unavailable, if there was a pricing or description error, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, you get a full refund.

Prices, currency and errors

Our base currency is pounds sterling. Prices in the EU, the US and Canada are converted and shown in your local currency at checkout.

UK prices include VAT where it applies. Prices for international orders exclude any import duties or taxes charged by your own country.

We work hard to price everything correctly, but mistakes happen. If we find an obvious pricing error on an item you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch and let you choose between paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund. We will never quietly charge you more than the price you agreed.

We may change prices at any time, but never on an order you have already placed.

Import duties and taxes

On orders delivered outside the United Kingdom, any import duties, taxes or courier handling fees are set by the destination country and are your responsibility, not ours. They are not included in the price you pay us and we cannot calculate them in advance. Refusing a parcel to avoid those charges is treated as a change of mind return under our Return and Refund Policy.

Payment is taken at checkout. See our Payment Policy for accepted methods and how your details are handled.

Delivery and returns

Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping Policy. Your return and refund rights are set out in our Return and Refund Policy and your statutory cancellation right is explained in our Right of Withdrawal page. Those pages form part of these terms.

Installation, voltage and safety

Many of our lighting products require fitting to a mains electrical supply. Where that is the case, they should be installed by a qualified electrician in line with the wiring regulations that apply where you live.

Our products are specified for the UK market. Mains voltage, plug types and fittings differ between the UK, the EU and North America, and a product may require an adapter or a different bulb, or may not be suitable for use in your country at all. If you are ordering from outside the UK and are unsure, ask us before you buy.

We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable voltage or fittings, or use of the product other than as intended.

Our content

The text, images, logos, design and layout of this site belong to CasaQuip or our suppliers and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not reuse them commercially without our written permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. We do not exclude or restrict your statutory rights as a consumer.

Beyond that, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost income or lost opportunity.

Things outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier disruption, customs delays, severe weather, strikes, supplier failure, or interruptions to power or telecommunications. If such an event affects your order we will tell you and, if the delay is significant, offer you a full refund.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
