The Sorana Wall Clock sets a matte black dial inside a wide ring of clear acrylic, with two sweeping black arcs printed across the ring so the whole piece reads like a spiral in motion. From a few steps back the clear ring all but disappears, so the black face and its arcs seem to hover a little way off the wall, with pale grey numerals and slim white hands keeping the time.
It is cut from acrylic, so it is light and hangs on a single nail. The movement is a silent sweep quartz on one AA battery.
