The Luma Gloss Coffee Table is a 70 cm square slab of high gloss on a lower plinth, with two things hidden in it. The whole top spins a full circle on a bearing, so whatever is on it comes round to whoever wants it, and a strip of LED light runs around the underside of the top and washes the plinth in colour after dark.
The light runs from a USB cable (a 5V 2A supply, plug not included) and is controlled from a free phone app over Bluetooth: sixteen colours, dimming, and a steady or slow changing mode. Turned off it is simply a clean gloss coffee table in black or white, 36 cm tall, which sits right with a modern low sofa. It is built from a dense engineered board with a lacquered gloss finish, weighs about 24 kg, and the top is rated to 50 kg.
